Overview

InOrbit is an AI networking memory app for founders and professionals. It helps you remember people you meet, capture context, draft follow-ups, connect selected Google services, and export your data. These pages may be updated before public launch as the product and production infrastructure mature.

Information We Collect

  • Account and profile details such as name, email, company, role, location, website, social profile links, short bio, user type, and privacy preferences.
  • Onboarding answers such as event goals, target people, industry interests, networking style, Tier 1 criteria, voice examples, and availability preferences.
  • Contact and networking data you add, including names, companies, roles, emails, phone numbers, notes, source links, groups, tiers, reminders, relationship context, scans, uploads, and follow-up status.
  • Drafts, selected file references, suggested meeting times, approval history, audit events, feedback, support requests, and usage events used to operate and improve the app.
  • Integration connection state and token metadata when you choose to connect optional services. We do not ask you to paste OAuth tokens into the app.

How We Use Information

  • To create and maintain your private networking memory, contact cards, reminders, relationship graph, follow-up drafts, and exports.
  • To personalize recommendations, writing style, priority tiers, suggested openers, event context, and next actions.
  • To operate safety gates, quotas, support workflows, product analytics, reliability monitoring, and abuse prevention.
  • To respond to feedback, troubleshoot issues, and communicate important product or account updates.

Google Integrations

  • Google integrations are optional. You can use core capture, copy, mailto, and preference-based workflows without connecting Google services.
  • Gmail access is designed for approved drafts or sends only. InOrbit should not read your full inbox by default and should not send an email unless you approve the final action.
  • Drive access is intended for selected-file workflows. InOrbit should not scan your whole Drive by default and should not change file permissions without approval.
  • Calendar access is intended for availability preferences and free-busy style scheduling. InOrbit should not read full event titles or details by default and should not create holds, events, or invites without approval.
  • InOrbit's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

AI Services And Enrichment

InOrbit may use AI and enrichment services, including configured services such as Gemini, TinyFish, or profile-candidate lookup tools, to clean up contacts, summarize public context, suggest openers, draft follow-ups, and research event or company context. Bright Data-style lookup, if enabled, is limited to LinkedIn-shaped profile candidate discovery and candidate information should require your confirmation before being saved. Exa is not part of the active architecture.

Cookies And Local Storage

InOrbit may use cookies, local storage, IndexedDB, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, preserve local drafts, support offline capture, remember preferences, queue sync jobs, and measure basic usage. Local development and demo modes may store temporary data on your device.

Data Sharing

  • We do not sell your personal data or contact data.
  • We may share data with service providers that help us run hosting, authentication, storage, analytics, AI processing, enrichment, support, email, or payments, only as needed for the product.
  • We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer such as an acquisition or merger.
  • Public pilot, leaderboard, or pulse features should use aggregated or privacy-controlled data and should not expose private contact notes.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide InOrbit, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support user export or deletion requests. Some local or cached data may persist until cleared by you, your browser, or our retention process.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for the current stage of the product, including access controls, approval gates, scoped integrations, and production hardening work. No internet service is perfectly secure. Production token storage and access controls may continue to be hardened before public launch.

Your Choices, Export, And Deletion

  • You can choose whether to connect Google services and can disconnect integrations where supported.
  • You can export your data where export tools are available.
  • You can request account deletion, data deletion, or support by contacting us.
  • Some data may need to be retained for legal, security, audit, or backup reasons for a limited period.

Children And Minors

InOrbit is intended for professional networking and is not directed to children. Do not use InOrbit if you are under the age required to consent to online services in your location.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as InOrbit evolves, including before public launch. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the app, website, or email.
